Culture Is Not a Soft Skill.
Inter Mundos is an advisory and consulting practice for founders and leaders building across the world, with a particular focus on Brazil. Here's what it actually takes to lead, sell, and belong between cultures.
Advisory and consulting for founders and leaders, wherever they're building.
Support across the full lifecycle of a business, from getting a new venture off the ground to professionalising an established one, with particular depth in, but not limited to, companies that cross the Brazil ↔ world corridor.
How we work together
Advisory
Ongoing, part-time support: a sounding board and pair of hands for leadership, on retainer.
Project-Based Consulting
A defined scope and outcome: a market-entry plan, a governance overhaul, a growth playbook.
Workshops & Team Sessions
Focused sessions with your team on a specific topic: strategy, process, or cross-cultural ways of working.
Areas of activity
Start & Scale
Getting a new business off the ground, or taking an existing one to its next stage of growth.
Growth & New Business
Finding and building the next source of growth: new markets, new lines, new partnerships.
Customer Success & Operations
Building the operating muscle that keeps customers and teams running well as you grow.
Business Transformation
Rethinking how the business is structured and run when the old way stops working.
Governance, Compliance & Admin
The unglamorous foundations that let everything else scale safely.
Marketing & Positioning
Making sure the market understands what you do and why it matters.
International Expansion
Helping companies move in either direction between Brazil and abroad: market research and entry strategy, the administrative and legal groundwork to set up locally, and warm connections inside the target market.
Experience tested across borders, not just accumulated in one.
Fifteen years of operating and leadership experience is the foundation. What shapes the advice is that it was built across four countries and in three native languages, so a plan gets pressure-tested against more than one culture's definition of what “done” looks like before it reaches you.
Plus basic Mandarin and Russian.
Real operating experience, not theory.
Fifteen years building and operating across multiple countries. A sample of the roles this advice is drawn from:

Industries worked across
Tilo Weigandt
Tilo is a German-Brazilian based in São Paulo with 15 years of experience building companies, business segments and products, leading operations, scaling organisations, and delivering transformation across regulated and innovation-driven industries in Germany, Brazil, Ireland, and other countries such as the US, UK as well as Asian countries. He connects strategy, execution, and people to build resiliency, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
His background spans FMCG, automotive, services, consulting, fintech, cybersecurity, and startups, in roles requiring cross-functional leadership, structured problem-solving, and customer-centric design.
He specialises in innovation, organisational development, operational leadership, process optimisation, and building high-performance teams. He thrives in environments where clarity, governance, stakeholder alignment, and long-term impact are crucial.
He brings a cross-industry perspective that helps organisations grow with agility, structure, and measurable outcomes.
Inter Mundos grew out of that work: the realisation that the hardest translations aren't of language, but of what "on time," "yes," or "decided" actually mean depending on which world you learned them in. Tilo is not the subject of these conversations, he is the one asking the questions, and drawing out what's useful for the next person crossing the same border.
